Ms. de Gunzburg founded her label, By Terry, in 1998, while she was still the creative director of YSL Beauté. Much like Mr. Jobs, she prizes sophisticated products that are intuitive, are a pleasure to use and become absolutely essential to their users. (Start asking around, and it won't take long to find a woman who says she can't live without her Baume de Rose lip balm or Light-Expert Foundation.) Ms. de Gunzburg just launched a range of lipsticks that manage to have whisper-light texture, vibrant color and lip-plumping abilities. In the works for 2014: a foundation that promises to brighten and firm skin.
